In business, it’s not always about keeping profits high and stable — it’s also important to consider the impact our business has on the surrounding environment. Are we creating a wider positive impact for the community and nature around us?
To spread more good, we embrace the concept of “Sharing is Caring,” where sharing doesn’t only mean helping other people, but also caring for our planet and all living creatures. With this spirit, Best Indonesian Gift (BIG) organized a CSR program aimed at doing good for the environment. One of our small steps was holding a beach clean-up activity at Kelan Beach.
During the event, the BIG team didn’t just collect trash — they also sorted it into three categories: organic, inorganic, and hazardous waste (B3). In addition, we shared gifts with visitors who joined and supported the clean-up activity.
This event served as a reminder to both the BIG team and Kelan Beach visitors that protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility. After all, beaches are not only tourist attractions but also vital habitats for many ecosystems.
From this activity, we learned that no matter how small a good deed may seem, when done together, it can create a big and lasting impact.
